Modern Day Ramayana Perhaps some souls are written into each other's destiny long before they ever meet. Long before the first glance, the first argument, the first touch that feels like home. In the world of chaos, four love stories begin to unfold - each different, yet tied together by the quiet magic of fate. One discovered it slowly, like rain arriving after a long summer.! One carried the ache of losing and loving at the same time.! One found love hidden between arguments and stubborn glances.! And one... loved so softly that even silence started feeling beautiful.! In the way someone saves the last bite for you without saying a word. In hands reaching for each other during difficult nights. In lingering glances across crowded rooms. In remembering the little things no one else notices. But no matter how it comes, true love changes everything it touches. And perhaps that is what destiny truly means. Not finding someone perfect, but finding someone whose soul feels strangely familiar... someone who turns ordinary moments into forever memories. Because some people are not simply found by chance. Some hearts are destined to collide, destined to heal each other, destined to become home. Bound by family, chaos, traditions, and countless emotions, their lives intertwined beneath one roof - where every celebration became louder, every heartbreak deeper, and every moment of love warmer. This is not just the story of four couples. It is the story of a home filled with stolen glances, midnight conversations, jealous hearts, healing embraces, and the kind of love that slowly becomes family. Because some love stories are written by fate... and some are written by the people who choose each other, again and again, every single day. And maybe that is the truth about love after all - Pyaar to hona hi tha.! "Some hearts were always meant to meet."

In the land of Ayodhya, silence no longer feels peaceful-it feels like the calm before a storm. Sita is gone. And this time... it's not just grief. It's war. "He made a mistake." Ram's voice is steady-too steady. The kind of calm that sends chills down the spine. Because beneath that calm... lies a fury no one has ever seen before. The oceans of the south roar as ships from Ayodhya cut through the waves, heading toward the edge of the land Kanyakumari. The wind howls, the sea rises, and destiny begins to shift. On the deck, four brothers stand side by side. Ram. Lakshman. Bharat. Shatrughan. No words. No hesitation. Just silence... and eyes fixed on the vast, endless ocean ahead. Their expressions? Dead serious. Because this isn't just a journey. It's a warning. Ram stands at the front, his gaze locked onto the horizon. His face is calm-dangerously calm. But those who know him... know better. This is not peace. This is the storm before destruction. Because someone, somewhere, crossed a line they should never have crossed. And now Ayodhya is coming. Note: If you haven't read season 1 of Ram Rajya, go check it out first... because this storm didn't begin here. It was set in motion long ago.

Mandavi was born a princess of Sankashya and raised in the court of Janak, where daughters were not taught silence. They were taught to question, to observe, and to demand answers. Then came the exile. When Ram, prince of Ayodhya, left for the forest with Sita and Lakshmana, the exile did not belong only to those who went with him. It also belonged to those who remained behind. For fourteen years, they waited. Mandavi began those years as a sister and a wife - a young woman whose sister had been sent away for no fault of her own, and whose husband had chosen a harder path to atone for the sins of his house. But kingdoms do not pause for grief. While princes fulfilled their dharma in the forest, palaces still had to stand, households had to endure, and a kingdom had to be held together. By the time Ram returned, Ayodhya had changed. So had Mandavi. No longer only a sister, nor only a wife, she had become a daughter-in-law, a keeper of a fractured household, and a queen forged by waiting. This is the story of the exile as seen from the palace - of the woman history remembered only in passing, and of the fourteen years that changed her forever.

The breezes were fluid in their dances. Birds sang in their chime like voices, swelling at the glories of their Natha. The sun was never harsh in its sheen. Urmila is a princess from the beautiful kingdom of Videha. As amazing and spectacular as her princess agenda must be, she has exactly two priorities: 1) Her sister, Sita, living a happy life, no matter what she does, who she marries, if she marries at all. 2) Her always living with her sister Sita, because that's the only way she'll be happy. So when Sita gets married to Prince Ram from the massive empire of Kosala, it's only fair that Urmila tags along. As the wife of Ram's younger brother, Lakshman? Oh well. She didn't quite expect that. And what of those mysterious rumors surrounding him? Her husband, with strangely serpentine manners. A dark aura hanging around him, shadows surrounding his stature, dark eyes and angrier soul? Could he really be the infamous King of the Serpents? With a dangerous new husband, in a massive castle surrounded by secrets, Urmila isn't quite sure what to do. All she knows? She has to survive. After all, it's either that, or being separated from her sister. Forever. (Warning: this story is a Lakshmila ROMCOM, not a steamy Wattpad mafia story)

The Untold contexts left burried inside. Ramayana is an ancient Indian epic written sometime in the fifth century BCE about Rama, prince of Ayodhya who is exiled and then returns. The sage Valmiki wrote it in Sanskrit and taught it to Rama's sons, the twins Lava and Kush. It is a rather long poem, with approximately 24000 verses and is known as the Adi Kavya. (adi = original, first; kavya=poem) While the basic story is about palace politics and battles with demon tribes, the narrative is interspersed with philosophy, ethics, and notes on duty. This book states most of the facts that people are oblivious of. Cover credits- @hazelwolfx

Ramayana. An Indian epic that has lived through the centuries and has only grown even more in the process. An epic that shows ideal characters, many of whom we worship, and other characters from whom we learn what we shouldn't be at any cost. But one thing that has been a constant for many centuries now is the examples we give, referring to the epic. One of the most popular ones being "Be a brother like Rama." Not only is the Ramayana an enchanting tale of love and devotion, but it's also an equally magical example of brotherhood and affection. Brothers who stood with each other through thick and thin. Brothers who would readily sacrifice their life for the other. Brothers who would love the other, and support him when nobody else did. This book brings to you the Ramayana, but this time, the limelight is on the inseparable brothers. *** Disclaimer: Please do not read this book if you do not like humanization of deities. However, I can assure you that ALL relationships in this book are shown the way they're meant to be - no non-canon shipping. I can also assure you, that since I myself am a devotee of Shri Rama, that you will never have me intentionally writing anything against him, his real nature - the same goes for the others - Sita, Lakshmana, Urmila, Bharata, Mandavi, Shatrughna, Shrutakeerti, Dasharatha, the mothers... All of them will always get their due respect in this book. Secondly, I've followed the Valmiki Ramayana throughout. Some incidents may be revelations, as quite a few things are contrary to popular perception and other versions. Thank you! Fantastic cover designed by @Mochis4lifeq52627 <3
