so the plot for this write up is a incident which happened a few weeks ago. This was about a girl who used to come to same coaching class as me, and her father was the manager over there. even though I never had any personal interaction with the girl, but her father was a gem of a person. This girl had an account on Facebook and she added a girl (which was a guy in disguise) they started talking and after like 2-3 months he disclosed that he was a guy, now she refused to talk to him and went about her life, started preparing for various entrance exams and devoted herself to studies. Then one day, the guy comes knocking on her door and fools his mom, gets inside the house and stabs the girl 4-5 times and she dies on the spot. When I read all this in newspaper, I was shocked and appalled. Even though a lot of cases like this had happened and I'd read about them, but this one really struck me hard. Maybe because I'd seen this girl probably hundreds of times and her father had got me out of trouble a lot of times too. While in shock, I just wrote this poem which is my attempt at writing for the first time. I've written this extract from the father's perspective. Even if I've been able to express 1% of emotion the father must've felt, I'd consider myself as a good writer. I'd love if you could give suggestions, negative criticism also welcome.

This poem is a reflection of my heart and soul. It captures the moments of fear, uncertainty, and emotional struggle that we all face at some point in life. Shattered Dreams is a two-day, school based program that promotes responsible decision-making among high school students underage drinking and driving by showing how irresponsible choices can end all dreams. My letter written during my experience with the program. May 2016

A Breaking Love is a short poem about a relationship that's falling apart. One side's trying while the other has complete apathy. It's one of my better poems so please enjoy and I welcome any suggestions or criticism.
