Adult Skylar Carter has a stable home, working as a manager in a restaurant. She's married with three kids and it has been 25 years since everything happened. She had spent years forcing herself to remember everything after they tried to fry everything away in the hospital. But after a while, she stopped trying to remember until she gets a letter in the mail that forces her to reflect on her past. Unlike a simple character flaw, hamartia is a specific act: a critical moment in which the hero makes the wrong decision.
