One day, Zelda has a strange dream that ends up changing her life in ways she never could have imagined. Whether that was for the good or for the worse, no one could tell, not even her. All she knew was that darkness was a terrifying thing.

Giriham is a simple farm boy, but when he hears of a bad guy named Zant he asks the prince if it's true. The prince must train Giriham with a sword and bow and then has him go on a mysterious horse into the desert level. Zant told Giriham when they finally encountered that he was special for his masters plan. Giriham brings along the prince and another friend as they explore the desert level, the rain forest level, the forest level, and the plains level of Hyrules neighboring kingdom the Pinarri Kingdom.
