Sheik is a child of the Sheikah Clan...except he wasn't born in Kakariko. In the clan, the rite of passage of the Sheikah Clan, the Journey of Enlightenment, is something that all Sheikah the age of 13 must take. They will journey around Hyrule to find themselves and gain wisdom through experiencing the world alone. Except for Sheik. The loudest and most unpredictable Sheikah had received a vision from the Goddess Hylia to cross the ocean and return to his land of origin, the Hidden Continent. Well, he didn't mind. He is curious about the mysterious land. Besides, it is a good chance to learn about the world after Hyrule lost contact for the last 100 years due to the Calamity crippling their continent. The Princess could surely use an update to the political climate of Hyrule's neighbor! 3 years are up and Sheik finally returns to Hyrule. Along with him is a boy who have lost faith in the village that he grew up in and a girl who loves him enough to chase him across the ocean to Hyrule where they will both be tested by the evil that plagued the land...

In the earliest days of Hyrule, before Kakariko Village was ever built, the Sheikah were not guardians-they were seekers. When a nomadic tribe discovers a place where the boundary between life and death is thin, two brothers are drawn to its power in different ways. One learns to see beyond the veil. The other learns to shape what lies beneath it. What begins as a sacred duty-guiding the dead-slowly becomes something more. Knowledge is gained. Boundaries are tested. And the line between understanding and control begins to blur. When one brother goes too far, the other must confront a truth more devastating than any ritual: Some knowledge cannot be taken back-only contained. The Drum and the Debt is a mythic origin story of the Shadow Temple, the Bottom of the Well, and the Lens of Truth-where curiosity becomes consequence, and the cost of seeing is a burden that must be carried forever.

It's been 40 years since Princess Zelda and Link sealed away the Calamity. Hyrule has been rebuilt, Peace has been restored. But this does come with a price. 11 years ago was the Besiege of Hyrule Field. Zelda, Link, and Impa all fell, and the rest of the champions died as well. Now, the calamity is threatening to rise again, and a new generation will take the reins of saving the kingdom. Keria, the daughter of Link, and Princess Sheikah, daughter of Queen Zelda, are tasked to find new champions for the Divine Beasts. Keria is tasked to see if her bloodline will save the kingdom-Hyrule is resting on her shoulders if she is the new chosen knight. Not to mention the first female to wield the legendary sword.

Peace and rebirth are beginning to come upon the land of Hyrule once again. Zelda is deep in planning of the repair of Hyrule Castle and Hyrule Castle Town, and Link is busy with the cleansing of the lands from monsters. The two have had almost no time together after their fight with Ganon. As events begin to settle down, and Zelda and Link finally spend time together, Master Kanto, the new leader of the Yiga Clan, hatches a plan to end the "Hero" once and for all and raise darkness and malice over the land again. The three Sisters of Fate are known throughout Hyrule for their actions, working behind the scenes as rogues. It is impossible to say whose side they're on. One day, when Ganondorf grows tired of waiting for Hyrule to become his, he hires the Sisters of Fate to assist him. While he sets off to conquer the Gorons, Luck is sent to infiltrate the Kokiri, Hope is sent to trap the Zoras, and Karma is sent to assassinate the Sheikah. As Karma begins to learn a new way of life as a Sheikahn, she starts to wonder if she can really kill the people who have finally accepted her after a lifetime of running and rejection.

There will be a variety of male and female Sheik in here, I just refer to Sheik as a him/her or he/she when putting in an A/N because Sheik's gender is unknown.
