But even as those days were long gone, where they had no public expectations anymore, Shelly still hadn't confessed... because what if Vee didn't like her? Vee wasn't exactly the most "loving" of toons, after all, and Shelly was just some annoying ammonite stuck in the past... (This is pre-ichor operation, I forgot too mention that here)
