A young and ambitious detective, Sarah Johnson, is on the hunt for a serial killer who leaves no trace behind. The only evidence the killer leaves behind is a playing card on the victims' bodies. As she delves deeper into the case, Sarah uncovers shocking secrets about the victims and the people closest to her, making her question everything she thought she knew about the case and putting her own life in danger. As Sarah gets closer to solving the case, she realizes that everyone around her may not be who they seem and that the killer may be closer than she thinks. The closer she gets to the truth, the more she realizes that nothing is what it seems and the line between good and evil becomes blurred.
