Best friends, TJ Smith and Leah Avelino, are complete opposites, but make the best of friends. Leah is quite the activist compared to the meek TJ. One day, she "accidentally" defaces a rollercoaster at the local amusement park, Pickletopia. She claims it justified in the name of, as she quotes, "equal rights for all cucumbers". Leah gets caught, with poor TJ being caught as her accomplice. As penance, they go to work at Pickletopia for the summer and it's their first day.
