I'm not talking about them. You've probably figured that out by now. Let's hope so. Or we're in real trouble... and out come the intestines. And I skip rope with them! But perhaps now's not the time. You've made it this far. Further than anyone else! Well done! Now is time for a celebration... Cheese for everyone! Wait, scratch that. Cheese for no one. That can be just as much of a celebration, if you don't like cheese. True? Perhaps you've gotten a taste of madness as well? Do not believe madness to be a curse, mortal. For some, it is the greatest of blessings...a bitter mercy perhaps, but mercy nonetheless. Yes you've made it far but... let's see how much farther you'll make it, dear mortal. The character of Sheogorath, Haskill, Cicero and other belongs to Bethesda. The character of Alera, Cairn, Mira, Amalia, Sylvia and Marina belongs to me.

Cicero was always bullied as a child. He was unusual, in personality and appearance, and hated the normal Nords that surrounded him daily. When the day came he was of age, his mother gave him a strange dagger for when he traveled far to find someone like him. After being rejected from many Guilds, he found the Dark Brotherhood and finally somewhere to fit in. But when the Dragonborn shows up, something has to change. The question is, how far will he go? Mie has fallen into the realm of the Mad god, Sheogorath. Pitied by him, she is taken in by him and slowly of the course of time there may be more than just a Deadric Prince being kind for once. This is set way before the time of Elder Scrolls Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim. But I have been playing a ton of Oblivion lately and this is where this fanfic came from. To be honest this will be my first full fanfiction I try to write in my whole life. So some constructive criticism would be great so I can make the next chapter better.

(" What if Mind is actually a state," Sheogorath started slowly, raising both eyebrows. " And Sleep is the Capital? So Sleep is the Capital of the state Mind!") The MadGod likes to mess with mortal affairs, so why is that we are only now hearing about those stories? Heh, I don't know. Ask your helmet. If it doesn't answer, throw lettuce at it.
