Lucinda moved to America 17 years ago. To the day. I need to find her. There's a man in Chicago. He is in the custody of two children, Sam and Sadie. Boy was adopted. 17 years old. The man, Jeffery Maxwell, married a woman named Lucinda. 3 weeks after the wedding, Lucinda had a daughter that couldn't have been Jeffery's in any physical way. Where is She. Nicotine patches. She doesn't even know what will happen when she graduates high school. All she really knows is that her mother is dead, her step dad abuses and sexually abuses her, and her real dad disappeared off the face of the earth. Until now. Apparently, her father wants her back and her step dad- well, he's still him. But there's one small detail. that her mother and father, or should I say /fathers/, neglected to tell her. She began simply as a scientific experiment led by her 'father', Sherlock Holmes.

Sherlock has a rare genetic mutation that causes more blood to rush to his cheeks than most, causing his usually pale cheekbones to turn pink. This, to him, is an embarrassing secret, which he keeps by covering his face with light makeup each day. One day, by chance of a request for a flatmate, he meets John Watson. Suddenly, powder can't hide the sudden emotion that he feels each time John compliments his deductions.

Captain Sherlock Holmes is a pirate. The best damned pirate the seas had ever seen, according to himself of course, Who didn't need anyone or anything besides his ship The Raven Crown and his crew. But then they find stowaway John Watson below deck and make him the ship doctor. Bit by bit Sherlock realizes that maybe his first love isn't the sea after all. Throw in the fact that Jim Moriarty, Captain of The Hourglass, the most deadly ship to sail the seven seas, with its crew of merciless men is after his blood and a few jailings here and there as he runs from his own fate and you've got one hell off a tale. But too bad not everyone will like to tell it.

*Note: This is an AU. I'll explain more after the short description.* When rats infest their home, and get their 22-year-old housemate sick with the plague that almost takes her life, Sherlock and Watson soon find out this was no accident. With the danger of losing their best friend and only girl they really love, the two detectives set out to find who has it in for her... And them, as well. Continuing the note, I'd like to explain that this is an AU where Sherlock and John live in Florida, which means they live in a house in the middle of nowhere(kinda like I do!). This means that Mrs. Hudson and Lestrade will not be in the story(Mycroft will be mentioned rarely), and that both of the men's personalities will be quite different from the show. If you think they're out of character, go fuck yourself. That's how they act in the AU. If I get comments concerning their personalities, I'm just going to assume you can't fucking read a 'long' description.
