He stated going through the folder and staring at him with a smile, "But none of these articles have my name on it." "I've been studying your tactics in case the police ever ask me for help." He nodded as he feigned obliviousness, "Ah, I see."

Sherlock sees the outline of something long and small in the man's coat. The man's mannerism's indicates that it is a weapon of some sort but it can't be a gun. He is perplexed. He takes his case for the only reason to figure out what the man has in his pocket.
