On a plane from New York to London, two girls meet. They talk and find how weirdly similar they are, in everything including the castle school in Scotland that is their final destination, but a twist of events makes them realise that their bond runs deeper than they thought. Since I ended the first book kinda shitty, I decided to write up an extended ending. It will most likely be more of a short story, but yeah. Enjoy! :) It starts up right after the events of the first book.

Ruth Laurie has known Sherlock Holmes for a very long time, though Sherlock would rather forget about the school years spent together... and has, till she's transferred to Scotland Yards forensic team. It's not long till she's wormed her way back into the Holmes family life again, to find they're not the family she left seventeen years before to go Uni in the states, and the change is thanks to a man named John Watson. Not knowing they've have had better times, as it's only weeks after Sherlock's come back from the dead, Ruth wants to know John's secret to attaining the title of friend, and vows not to give up till Sherlock can call her one too. However she soon finds their relationship is not what it once was and Sherlock still likes to keep his secrets... secrets that she lived through with the Holmes family. Secrets that are now threatening her life and won't be secrets much longer. --- Author's Note: I have been writing this on Fanfiction.net, but just decided to post it on here as well. Normally not as active here as I am over at ff.net, but I've decided to try to keep it up on here as well. There use to be a 'casting' area and I guess it's not there anymore (it's been like a year since I've been on here), so I'm just going to tell you. Krysten Ritter is how you should picture Ruth Laurie. And I think that's all I've got to say... hope you enjoy it!

Most of people think that Sherlock is the one making lots of trouble, but he did nothing comparing to my actions. They don't know me, they think Violet and Siger Holmes have only two children. They are wrong. There is also me, Sherrinford. The Third Holmes, the youngest.

~Why does James Moriarty hate Sherrinford Holmes? Perhaps even more so than Sherlock Holmes. Sherrinford Holmes never thought someone would love him, and he never imagined he was capable of sentiment either. It is just unfortunate that the girl he loves, Maggie McRender, is also the woman James Moriarty has fallen head over heels for.~

It is not by chance that these two desperate people find their fates intertwined at such a turning point in their lives. After all, the universe is rarely so lazy. A/N: This work is a rewrite of a previous Sherlock fanfiction of mine, which is titled "Bored." There will be many changes throughout the book, as I am not pleased with how cliché and childish the original version comes off as. I hope this version turns out satisfactory. Please enjoy.
