Qur'an does not allow self inflicting harm! Saying, "mourning and self beating are a privilege" is foolishness. Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam never allowed such jahilliya acts. So who are you to compromise with the shari'a because you are sorrowful?" Stop spreading foolish acts of other beliefs.
