Cali Shiba wished to escape the gangster lifestyle she was born into. Cali's ability to travel back in time accounts for this. But she finds herself drawn to people she wants to avoid, especially Ran Haitani, the man she has spent her entire life resenting. When the Black Dragon labels Cali as a traitor, she finds herself in an unwelcome relationship with Ran, from which she believes she can't escape. She wonders if returning to the past will allow her to change her situation. Stopping the Bonten, putting an end to the betrayal, and rescuing those who are in danger of being drawn into the underworld.
