Anne Shirley Cuthbert has lived in Carmody for a majority of her life. Annie always had a passion for writing and a nack for drama, so her world turns upside down when her and her mom Marilla had to move to Avonlea, in the Prince Edwards Islands. She soon begans to develop a close set of friends and starts to truly enjoy life and high school at Avonlea. Particularly because of a certain someone... who we refer to as Gilbert Blythe.

anne is long lost relative of Gertrude oliver. It wasnt until her death that Josephine Barry found out and adopted her. Together they move to Avonlea to meet great adventures .
