Magge (Magnolia) Edel came from an abnormal family in Shinganshina. After the fall of Wall Maria, resulting in the destruction of her home and family, she forced herself to join the military. She is by no means strong. Her body is small and fragile, but the Scout Regiment needs all the help it can get. She is a medic, and naturalistic one at that, and she will do whatever it takes to assist in the progression of humanity. Captain Levi somehow takes an interest in her cynical views and unwavering determination.

The Battle of Shingashina brought many deaths, too much grief and realizations. Hange Zoe was alive and Levi almost lost her that day.
