At the middle of the night he woke up to see his house on fire and witnessed his own mother burn to death while no one, not even his father, came to help. With only 9 and supposedly quirkless he saw his own mother burn to death and thanks to this trauma, developed a fire quirk as he saw the corpse of his mother turning into ashes. And with that, a villain was born.
