Mob glanced out the window, a bit confused as it was sunny out, with perfectly clear blue skies, the sun radiating warmth like no other but followed his mother's advice anyway. Mob dreams of walking home everyday, hand in hand with the lovely miss Takane Tsubome. But when an old friend appears as a new student in Salt Middle School, Mob becomes uncertain of what he really wants.

Kageyama Shigeo is not known by most people in the school. And no one really bats an eye when he passes by, but he holds something that not many people inherit, which is being an esper. Mob works part time in an office called "Spirit and Such Consultation Office." He has a mentor there named "Arataka Reigen" that owns the office. Reigen's business has been the hype lately. But one day, he got a task to exorcise an evil spirit. Knowing Reigen, he cant do this alone. So he brought Teruki Hanazawa, another esper with him. But little did Reigen know, The feelings of two middle schooler espers were about to bloom..

Ekubo couldn't usually tell which one it was, but this time it was pretty evident by the soft frown crossing his lips, never daring to meet his glazed eyes. He'd never seen a smile like that from Reigen, one that he met his eyes, it was always wide or perhaps small, but never truly savoring a feeling of happiness. Was Reigen ever happy? ***** Dimple walks Reigen home after he gets wasted, he doesn't let him spend the night alone. He ends up figuring out more about the man than he'd intended to.
