The mystic Hyrule Emblem: an ancient relic known to grant the wishes of any who possesses it. So when an evil sorcerer by the name of Ganondorf came to Hyrule Castle looking for it the king left it in the care of his daughter Princess Zelda. Fleeing the castle she took refuge in the nearby Kakariko Village. For seven years Princess Zelda has been in hiding, awaiting for the time when a hero would rise up and strike down Ganondorf. That day had arrived when Kakariko Village gets attacked by brigands. A lone villager by the name of Link decides to fight back alongside Princess Zelda. Afterwards he sets his mind on retrieving the sacred Hyrule Emblem so Princess Zelda can return to her rightful place in Hyrule Castle. The journey will be long and difficult but Princess Zelda has faith that Link shall pull through. She even encourages him to recruit allies to aid him in his endeavor.
