During his senior year of high school, Yuuki Izumi makes a life-changing decision: instead of following his friends to university, he's joining the Japan Coast Guard. What starts as a glimpse of a Coast Guard ship at a bay-side café becomes an unstoppable drive to transform himself from the unlucky, clumsy boy who's always been protected into someone strong enough to protect others.
