Aki have the ability to see ghosts and spirits, he can hear them as well as seeing them. He see their parents' spirits a lot and hear their voices a lot. Their parents' spirits are shocked to hear that he can see them when the other people and his brothers and friends can't. He keep it a secret from his brothers and friends, so no one knows about it only Kaoru and Aiako knows.
