Akua's village wasn't too proud of the dragon bloodline existing in the colony. They treated all aquamarine dragons as trash, and filthy animals. Instead of retaliating against the angry mobs, the latest aquamarine dragon, protected the village at all costs, until Akua was born. Fearing for the worst, the majority of the village, including Akua's parents, stashed the would-be aquamarine dragon in a tower. When Akua, inherited her powers at last, she couldn't escape the tower either way, she was sealed in there forever. At least that's what she thought, until a group of travelers passed by.
