kny high school AU (not reincarnation like my other works) Obanai and Sanemi had been friends since middle school. Nothing more and nothing less. They both face their demons, but together, they could do anything. But when a cloud of mystery walks into their life in the form of Tomioka Giyuu, their lives may turn upside down.

The Tsugikuni name may have died out, but the line still have descendants no matter how washed out the blood is. When the pillars under the 96th Oyakata-sama of the Demon Slayer Corps were sent out to the Eclipse Estate following an attack, they did not expect to find the only remaining descendants of the youngest Tsugikuni to end up with fates comparable to how the three siblings from the Sengoku era had. The only remaining survivor was taken back to headquarters for protection, the family's youngest and only daughter - Tsugihana Kagami - who then rose the ranks years later and took after the family's long held position as the Eclipse Pillar. Years later and she meets her distant relatives, the Tokito twins. Will she be able to keep her only remaining family close? Or will she lose her family like her grandmother did centuries ago? "If my purpose in life is to be the Mirror who can reflect the truth and bring clarity to our bloodline no matter how bloodied the reflections are, if it will help bring an end to Kibutsuji's reign, then so be it."

Tomioka Giyuu feels empty, he feels as though he doesn't deserve to stand next to the other hashiras who worked much harder than he did to be there. His best friend and first love Sabito should be standing where he is now, he robbed him of that when Sabito saved him at final selection, if it wasn't for him he would be alive. Giyuu debated ending his life multiple times, it wasn't worth anything after all. On a particularly hard night he almost went through with it, that was until he stopped and thought. 'What if I give myself one last chance to live..?' He set himself goals he wanted to fulfil before he was allowed to end his life. 1. he wanted to help Kamado Tanjiro become the new water pillar. 2. He wanted to talk more with his fellow Hashira. 3. He wanted to smile more, taking time to enjoy the smaller things in life. And lastly, he wanted to become friends with Shinazugawa Sanemi. The last one was the one he wanted to complete the most, he had tried to befriend shinazugawa for a while now, following him around at the masters mansion after hashira meetings to try and strike up conversation, sadly it only ever ended up in an argument. Giyuu wanted to leave the earth with no regrets, that meant Befrending Shinazugawa, no matter how hard it was going to end up being.

Sanemi has always been an angry, cold-hearted man, but when he meets a special someone, his life changes for the better.. *cover is not mine* This is purely for fun, i will try and update it regularly. It depends on my motivation :) *NOTICE* i do not on Demon slayer/kimetsu no yaiba, it fully belongs to Koyoharu Gotouge.
