This is a Yatori fanfiction. It is going to take place after chapter 52 in the manga. Sorry if there are any spoilers, but that is where it starts. If you do not read the manga you should, but you should still be able to catch on. It starts off with Yato and he has this reoccurring thought when he thinks of Hiyori. As this thought grows more into a feeling will he be able to see what it means. Not only that, but what is a god to have this kind of feelings for a half-phantom half-human girl. Will she reciprocate this feeling or will she focus on her family? Only time will tell.

I decided to make this fic after reading Gaara Hiden and finding myself pretty annoyed since poor Gaara does NOT have a decent love story and is constantly friendzoned. Furthermore, in Boruto he is like a single dad with a terrible haircut that makes him look like he is called Karen and wants to talk to the manager... ENOUGH! My man, Gaara deserves a nice love story worth his great character!!! Summary: Gaara, the Fifth Kazekage, finds himself immersed in a dangerous conspiracy after saving his old bijuu Shukaku from a mysterious shadow who wanders at night. In his quest to free the One-Tailed Beast once again, he will realize that love can be found like a feather in the middle of the desert.

Shinki is Gaara's adopted son and was born into a regular family at the outskirt of Suna. However, at birth, he was blessed with the power to manipulate sands and soon created his own iron sand to control similar to that of the 3rd Kazekage. As a infant, Shinki is unable to control his blessed power and often wreck damage to his home with his sands flying around, destroying everything it touches. Soon, his parents was victims and got hurt by his sands. Unable to take care of him, Shinki was abandoned at the age of 3. Still unable to control his power, he often hurt innocent people everywhere he go and people feared him. The news soon alarm the Office Building and Gaara went into action. A/N: I haven't seen many stories about Shinki and thought I should write a story about his life based on my imagination (and maybe throw a little Gaara's childhood in there). Shinki is my 2nd most favorite character in the new generation behind his lovely cousin Shikadai so I thought, what better way to show my love to him than writing a story about his life? I am currently working on a new ShikaTema story (but writer's block right now...) and a sequel to my first story is 'To the past we go' (I hope it will come out soon... Also writer's block lol).
