A oneshot based on my headcanon for Nemoto and my oc as children: • Val used to sneak into his room at 2 AM when she couldn't sleep. Most likely a nightmare or nerves. He'd be irritated sometimes, but he'd let it slide. He would lift up the blanket so she could crawl in. She felt more safe with him which is why she went to him and not their parents.
