What begins with bandages, arguments, and reluctant care slowly becomes a story about trust, healing, family, and two people learning that survival is not the same as living. As the threat of demons grows more dangerous, Giyu and Shinobu are forced to confront their grief, their fears, and the question of whether people shaped by loss can still choose a future together all while actively being hunted down by Muzan.

In this AU, everyone is born with a thin red thread tied around one finger, invisible except under certain circumstances. It connects them to the person they're destined to love. Except Giyu has never been able to see his. Naturally, he assumes that means he simply doesn't have one. Shinobu absolutely torments him over this. But during a mission, Shinobu is badly injured and Giyu catches her hand to stop her from falling. For the first time, he sees it. A tiny red thread wound around his finger. Running directly to hers. And Shinobu sees it too still she has her plans involving Dōma and Giyu still thinks he's undeserving of happiness. So instead of instant romance, knowing they're supposedly destined for each other makes everything more painful. Because eventually Giyu realizes: Shinobu is planning to cut the thread herself.

After the final battle, Giyu wakes up injured and exhausted somewhere quiet, only to find Shinobu sitting beside him like nothing ever happened.

Angst Giyushino au in where giyu comes back from a mission to his estate and receives a letter from Oyakata telling him that shinobu is soon going to get forced until marriage and she will no longer be a part of the demon slayer corp.

Giyu and Shinobu are sent on a joint mission to an abandoned mountain shrine. After the fight, the demon destroys part of the mountain and they fall into an underground chamber. The exit collapses behind them, their Kasugai crows can't reach them, and they realize they'll probably be stuck there until morning.
