This story takes place after the Swordsmith Village arc in Demon Slayer. If you have not read up to there in the manga, I would recommend not reading this until you have, for this story will contain spoilers. The battle with Upper Ranks 4 & 5, known as Hantengu and Gyokko had finally finished. But at what cost? Muichiro Tokito, Tanjiro Kamado and a few others have discovered Genya's secret. After graduating, they spent every moment together, but when its time to leave, will they still be in touch? Shinolli Academy, the academy that is owned by Sir Tomioka Botan, one of the highest businessmen in all of modern day toyko, and Giyuu gets to go for free, as his father owns it. Shinolli is in a 250 year rivalary, and has been passed down between generations, and Giyuu is expected to take it over. The rivalry school is Anakiki Academy, and is owned by Shinzugawa Kyogo, and same with Shinolli, the oldest son is expected to take over as lead of the school.
