He just wants her booty, but she'll end up stealing his heart. ***** After pirates kidnap seventeen-year-old Ana in a case of mistaken identity, the orphaned housemaid prepares for the worst. Instead, between a shipwreck, mutiny, and her growing feelings for her captor -- the dashing Pirate King of the Caribbean, Alestair Kincade -- Ana soon realizes the secret she keeps is far from the most dangerous part of her new life. But playing the wholesome daughter of a Spanish admiral among rag-tag buccaneers isn't easy either, and to avoid both discovery and the gallows she'll have to learn to rely on more than just her wits and her charm. But is Alestair Kincade really on her side? Or will his protection and his love both disappear the moment he learns the truth? She is chosen by a Goddess to be her human vessel, allowing the goddess to come and go in her body as she pleases. After three strangers from the East receive her prophecy regarding their own civil war, she is whisked across the world. When she begins to fall in love with a foreign prince, she's left to wonder if her feelings are her own, or the goddess who inhabits her. No AI was used in the making of this story or cover. Don't worry babes. Hi hii~~ I will be publishing chapters at least weekly. There's a rough outline of how I expect this story to go, but we'll see where we end up! I'm envisioning some mythical world inspired by real ancient civilizations, myths, and a little magic. Thanks for reading^^

Somewhere beyond the horizon, time remembered what the world forgot. In 1908, a violent storm swallows a ship carrying four families across the Pacific Ocean. They are never found. To the rest of the world, they become another tragic story lost to history. But history is only written by those who know where to look. Hidden beyond towering cliffs and an uncharted underwater mountain chain, the survivors begin again. What starts as survival slowly becomes something far greater. A village where every child belongs to the whole community. Where elders are treasured because their stories are part of everyone's future. Where names are carefully carved into a village roll so no life is ever forgotten. Where homes are built together, meals are shared without keeping score, and kindness is not extraordinary, it is simply the way people live. By 1964, while the rest of the world races toward the future, scientific survey ships unknowingly begin searching the waters surrounding the island. As pieces of modern equipment wash ashore and two worlds drift closer with every passing tide, one question quietly rises above them all: Who was truly lost? Before We Built Walls is a heartfelt story of family, legacy, belonging, and the quiet beauty of a slower life. It is for anyone who has ever longed for simpler days, who believes neighbors can still become family, and who wonders if the things we chase have caused us to forget the things we need most. This is more than the story of a forgotten island. It is a gentle reminder that before we built walls around our homes, our hearts, and our lives... we built one another.

Giving up his voice out of love for the mermaid Princess (which goes wildly unwell), Kyran reluctantly journeys with the Princess to KILL the Prince who had wronged her. An orphan of shipwreck, Kyran was granted the gift to live between the land and sea. Years of knowing the mermaid princess since the day she found him lost and afraid, lead him to love her (quite unbeknownst to her). The Prologue is in a very rhythmic FAIRYTALE format. From there, the Chapters will be in a more MODERNIZED format (not quite omniscient, not quite one perspective. But certainly not all perspectives... I hope I chose the porridge bowl, chair, and bed that's juussst riiiiiiight.) After reading “The Little Mermaid” by Hans Christian Anderson, I was intrigued and disturbed. So a year or so ago, I wrote my own rendition of the wonder tale. Originally, it was a short story critiquing that period's dominant cultural values that depicted virtue in falling in love with the superficial (predominantly regarding wealth, power, elegance and beauty). However, I decided to turn the short into a longer novel, and who knows... perhaps a series. Also, don't get "the Flounder Boy" confused with "Flounder" from Disney ;) I know. I shouldn't have done that, but... i really like the title. So bear with me!

Jack Lantern found himself shipwrecked in the middle of the vast sea, alone and without hope of rescue. With all his experience being on the water, he must now learn to survive on dry land. With nothing more than a compass and his long knife, Lantern begins to adapt to life in a tropical jungle. Shelter, food, weapons, those things came fairly easily to the determined sea captain, and while primitive, he lacked very little. Yet even paradise has its dangers. They came in the form of the inhabitants of his new island home, those who would not see his presence tolerantly. It got worse when one of their own abandoned them and was now looking to Jack for help.

If you've been that one person that it's the third wheel between best friends, and if you think that whatever you do is just not enough you sound just like the person writing this book. Never been the centre of attention? Never received compliments? Always had expectations but they were never complied? Jesus, i might not be the only person on the planet feeling and living this, although that's how it seems..
