A young man in Japan spends his time waiting and thinking, unsure of what he's supposed to be doing.

William Austin Pillman, the younger brother of his late sister Alexis Pillman, is a third generation professional wrestler going under his new ring name Austin Pillman in NXT. Wrestling around the world, Will managed to get over with the fans and show what he could do, but on the side, he would try his best to help his own mother get into rehab with her drug addiction, but he would fail despite loving his mother so terribly. During his time in Japan, Will would meet Mina Shirakawa, a Japanese wrestler from Stardom, as the two would become the best of friends, thanks to Mina's warm and welcoming personality, but on June 1st, 2022, Brian Jr, his baby brother on his dad's side, reported that Melanie, Will's mom, had passed away. Feeling like he let his family down, Will would refuse to talk to them, feeling ashamed they would bash him for not being there for them as he would redeem himself by reinventing his character. Losing three NXT Championship matches over the next year, Will would address his frustrations and how he wants to retire, thinking that he let his father and family down, until Mina would make a shocking appearance in NXT, not only talking some sense into William, but also announcing she quit Stardom to sign with NXT to be near him. However, Mina would start to fall for William after years of friendship, but would William feel the same?

Peter O'Brien is a professional wrestler from Winter Hill, in Massachusetts, under the ring name Johnny Collins. After showing out every single night and just being an absolute beast in the American wrestling Indie scene, Peter would travel to Japan, where he would become one of New Japan's most hottest stars. However, during his run in New Japan, Peter would become caught in the eye of a very friendly cutie by the name of Mina Shirakawa, a wrestler for Stardom. Feeling like she's seen the most handsomest gaijin in her life, Mina would actually start to THIRST for the Irishman, despite knowing some English, thanks to her time at a university in Tokyo in her younger years. But, unknown to Mina, Peter knew Japanese after taking Japanese language lessons in Tokyo and would become very fluent whenever he started a conversation with one of his fellow wrestlers or fans. However, despite knowing Japanese, Pete would become oblivious to Mina's advances and start to question whether her thirsting is real or not. How does he react?
