Shota Aizawa, a homeroom teacher, a hero, and more importantly right now, a survivor of the torment that All for One had inflicted over the entire world. In an attempt to resume his hero duties and continue his time as a teacher on the hero course, he must find a way to recover from his injuries. Though it's not that simple: he tries not to admit it, but everything he worked for may be over, and he may be seeing his students graduate from the sidelines as he assumes his role as an assistant teacher on the hero course. Continuing on from season 7 of My Hero Academia, this story falls under the assumption that some key characters that are ambiguously alive survive, and will continue under the assumption that the heroes do in fact beat All for One and other villains.

Oboro Shirakumo was a 15 year old boy when he 'died'. He became Kurogiri at 16. This story following the life of Oboro soon to be Kurogiri, and his struggles to become himself again. Along the way people close to him, both heroes and villains alike, keep trying to sway him to their side. Hizashi Yamada is standing on the rooftop, ready to end it all. -------------------------------------------------- This is an Erasermic (previously CloudEraserMic) angst fanfic, based on the MHA universe. The story is explaining what's happening in parallel in the current timeline (before the war, though) and back in the days where Mic and Aizawa were studying in UA with Oboro. There'll be serious topics mentioned, so please do read the trigger warning in the first chapter. Izuku is a curious person. The will to learn and question is the motivation that drives him. At the early age of 4 he had learnt that not all men are equal, not when it comes to having a quirk. At the age of 5 he had learnt that the dead are much better off than the living. At the age of 6 he had learnt that the law of the universe is a life for a life in exchange for your soul. The age of 7, he was first told he was insane. And maybe he really is insane, maybe all the bad things that happen in his life are deserved. Its at the age of 8 that he first witnesses the death of a human and the rise of their soul. Its at the age of 11 that he realises he killed her. He killed his mother. Or, Izuku wakes up one day and finds out he can see ghosts. He wakes up another day and realises he can shove a soul into a body. Wakes up a third day, much to his displeasure and realises he's immortal. Tw: Quite a lot of animal death and harm. Same with humans I guess. It's all just quite dark in general so keep that in mind while reading. Cover not mine.
