Gilbert and Anne have never met. They were assigned as pen pals through a class assignment. Where does it go from there?

{This story takes places right after season 2 ends. So if you haven't watched it yet this might contain spoilers!} After Sebastian and Mary's wedding, everything seemed to be going well in Avonlea. Green Gables was running smoothly, Ms. Stacy is continuing to teach, and Anne still has a grand imagination. When Gilbert Blythe trains to become a doctor, he couldn't help but notice a certain sickness spreading around the small town, some in which are deadly. When Anne wakes up to find both Mathew and Marilla sick she begans to take matter into her own hands, not wanting Gilbert to intrude as she thought she could handle it herself. Ruby and Diana aren't around when both their parents take a trip to head North, leaving poor Anne by herself. If things couldn't get any worse, Gilbert also takes his leave on another steamboat, traveling back to Trinidad to help bring Sebastian's mother back to Avonlea. When a great storm brews of the coast, heading straight towards the small town, Anne finds herself in a difficult position to fend for herself, and the rest of Green Gables. {I do NOT own the characters of this book, all rights reserved. Anne is now a full time student at Queens Academy, a place where many journeys await. New dangers, new friends, and new romances blossom as Anne faces some of her biggest adventures yet. The way I will be writing it most likely will not fit in with just one season. If I decide to keep up with the story, it'll be going through many different years in Anne's life, starting after the end of season 3. All of it will be based of of the show, and loosely based off of the events in L.M. Gilbert is a charming young boy, he's an orphan as well, orphaned at the age of 14 when his dad died. His next 3 years were sorrowful, but bearable because of the one and only, Anne Cuthbert. She's hated him since the day he called her carrots and she slapped him with a notebook.
