On the way to Anima City, Michiru met with the person who was transporting her there before noticing that the person was also transporting a young-looking girl to the city. When they arrived at the city, the transporter, Marie Itami, asks for Michiru to take the kid with her. Michiru tries to talk her way out of it before eventually being tossed the girl from the boat as Marie sets off. He is now 19 and leaving for a city known as animacity where a girl named Michuru Kagemori meets Phage as he is taking down a mugger. How will these two end up as friends or enemies. Can the two learn to help each other? Or will they fail?

Growing up in a world where the weak are trampled over and treated with injustice, 19 year old detective (Y/n) (L/n) strives to achieve equality for both beastmen and humankind. Everything in her plans turn upside down when a very close family friend is suddenly turned into a beastmen, forcing her to protect and take care of the child on her own in an entirely different setting.
