Letters. They use letter to communicate before telephones and calls and emails and text messages. Those were the days, as your father would've said. I t’s cool, really. Having letters. Writing them, buying a stamp and sending it. Feel so, vintage. Ancient… but many people (not so many) still do it. And maybe, I’ll be one of them. With this letter. The brown parchment between my fingers. The soft and smooth sticker on the corner of it. Yeah, I think I lived in the ‘before life’ very far. Like 17’s or something. I place the parchment on the counter. “To uhh, Fremont, Seattle?” I said, pushing the parchment towards the man on the other side of the counter. He stares at me. “Anything else?” He asked. Oh. “Oh, umm, 4012 Dayton Avenue, Fremont, Seattle. Now, did I missed anything?” I asked, raising my hands in a surrendered position. “Nothing else, miss. 3 dollars.” He said, poking some things in the keyboard. I grabbed my wallet from my pocket, opening it, I grabbed 3 green papers. I placed it on the counter. “Thanks, here’s the receipt. We’ll let you know if the letter is received. Thanks for choosing Mercury Post. Come again soon.” He said with a flat and boring tone. He’s really tired of his job, I can tell. “Yeah, thanks.” I said, walking towards the door. I closed the door, ending with a soft ring of the bell. Letters for James, huh? Let’s see how long I can keep this up. === Natalie Anne George is a simple girl from California. And she is in loved with James Patrickson from Seattle. She met him in a summer camp in Vashon last year. And for 2 weeks of staying in that camp, she fell in love with him. She stayed in touch with him for a year in Facebook, but ended eventually. Natalie, not wanting to end her connection with him, she began to write letters for him as an unknown girl.

It is just a feeling, right? It will eventually fade away, and you'll see its place, where it belonged to. It all builds up a picture, it all has a purpose. "It is just a bad day, don't let it influence your week", they say. And the people who say that to you, care about you. They know how it feels like, understand you. And all I know, that we have to move on. You know, let it go, let it leave, let it happen; nothing in this world was promised or belonged to you anyway.

The animals are friendly, even if the people aren't, and as a vet she always has something new to do. But after the incident, she realises she needs to revaluate her life choices. Her recently heartbroken best friend has an idea - why not go on a weekend getaway out of the city? Sounds great, right? It was...until it became the vacation from hell. With Marissa's stellar luck, of course they must have missed the fine print on the brochure. Like the secret shifter village that they get trapped in, and its paranoid inhabitants. Or the curse reigning fire and destruction over the village. And let's not forget the civil war between the soon-to¬ be Alpha and his stepbrother. All she wanted was a weekend to herself.
