Bang bang bang, it's a guideverse featuring the TCF cast. Hell survived Vox's little crash-out session, and a certain four demons are pretending that means they're perfectly fine. Alastor keeps smiling, keeps the radio humming, keeps everything neatly under control-because needing anyone would be a weakness, and he refuses to be caught with one. Especially now, at the height of his power. Unfortunately, an old emotion he once tried to bury is resurfacing, aimed at three people he very much does not need it for. Husk still acts like he's one bad hand away from walking out-but he doesn't anymore. He listens. He stays. That's new, and he hates how much it matters, especially now that the number of situationships around him has made actually giving a damn a real pain in the ass. Angel Dust is still stuck under Valentino's thumb, worked harder than ever now that Vox is out of the picture. Between survival and exhaustion, he doesn't have the time-or the energy-to process the fact that his feelings might be real... and worse, that they might actually work. Lucifer does what he does best: acting perfectly fine. He hides behind charm and smiles, telling himself that the unfamiliar thump in his chest is just delusion-that his heart couldn't possibly start beating for anyone again after Lilith. He doesn't realize he's already proving himself wrong. Against all of their better judgment, this relationship isn't built on fairytales or destiny-but on four broken demons avoiding affection as hard as they can, only to stumble into far too much of it by complete accident... and slowly, reluctantly, learning how to live with it.
