Ah! A new arrival! I'm so happy I could tear out your intestines and strangle you with them! I suppose an introduction is in order. I'm Sheogorath, Prince of Madness. And other things. I'm not talking about them. You've probably figured that out by now. Let's hope so. Or we're in real trouble... and out come the intestines. And I skip rope with them! But perhaps now's not the time. You've made it this far. Further than anyone else! Well done! Now is time for a celebration... Cheese for everyone! Wait, scratch that. Cheese for no one. That can be just as much of a celebration, if you don't like cheese. True? Perhaps you've gotten a taste of madness as well? Do not believe madness to be a curse, mortal. For some, it is the greatest of blessings...a bitter mercy perhaps, but mercy nonetheless. Yes you've made it far but... let's see how much farther you'll make it, dear mortal. This isn't your average tale. It's one of bravery and honor and romance... and perhaps even some unhinged glorious insanity. Is there order in chaos I wonder? Well I guess you'll have to find out now. So read this story. Or don't. It's completely up to you. But if you don't, I might just pluck out your eyes. That's up to me.

Relmyna Verenim has been distraught since the Greymarch, abandoned by her Lord. The sudden appearance of Sheograth's champion "for a chat" days later is just a further irritation. The universe would be cruel to throw anything else unexpected at her.

What happens when a mortal takes the Throne of Madness in the place of the Madgod? When a new portal appears in the Niben Bay just outside Bravil, the Elder Council turns to the one person they put all faith in: the Champion of Cyrodiil.

It takes place in the "Realm of Madness", also known as the Shivering Isles, a realm of Oblivion ruled by the Daedric Prince Sheogorath. The additional content was later packaged with the Game of the Year edition, and as well as with The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion 5th anniversary edition.

What would you do for the ones you love? For Talym Rend, that answer is anything. Desperate to save his son from madness, he decides to bargain with Sheogorath, Prince of Madness.
