Here's my first attempt at a songfic - inspired by Maxwell and Tommy's song - Ed Sheeran's "Shivers" As an added challenge there's no dialogue! This fits into both YCUTA and DWMEC I think, and also works as a flashback for Fictionangyl's "Return From The Big Apple" which you should definitely check out if you haven't already - but if you have you'll know why I had to get this out there this week, I needed some loved up Tomwell :) Cover edit by fictionangyl/soulofcordonia (IG) :)

They left you with an emptiness nothing could fill. I could never forget that night, I could never forget those faces. That one bit of truth - I'd wished my ears were never blessed with the bittersweet sound. You see, you always hear the saying "the truth will set you free." And it does; with a price. I wish I'd known that long enough to tell the next girl. *Not meant for sensitive readers who are suicidal, depressed or have any condition such as that. This book with make you cry, scream, and send an ache straight to your heart. But it will also fill you with the acknowledgment that some of these things do happen around the world. It learned about you over these years, gained a bit of knowledge about you. Then it strikes, and that's where things get difficult. That's when things go wrong. Not long after, it'll torment you, then it'll lead you to it's hiding spot- The Willow Tree. After moving into a new house, Carrie realises that she doesn't know the meaning of being alone- because she never was. She doesn't like this new town, it was dull, boring. Strange things start to happen after they moved in. Strange slender figures started appearing out of nowhere, voices.. But the problem doesn't lay in the house. It lays with Carrie.

It all started when I went to the prison for the first time in my life. I wasn't guilty at all. That day, I had to encounter all the horrors of jail without any reason. I had to spend that night in the torture room. I was thrashed unmercifully, my finger nails were pulled out and my teeth were knocked out of my gums. Wave upon wave of pain travelled through my body, trying to pull me into unconsciousness. But they didn't even let me lose my senses. Read and find out, how did he survive? What change did that one day in prison had on him? And more importantly, how did he take his revenge? Read the prologue to gather some idea. The prologue is good, in my opinion. But the rest is really cringy. Read at your own risk.
