The Gate opens at the doorsteps of Osaka Castle, at the very home of the Kampaku. The Saderans attacked the Great Conqueror himself. Unfortunately for the Saderans, the Japanese was not the helpless weak barbarians they're expecting. Armies of samurais clashed with legions, while monsters fall before connonfire. In an age where a Great Conqueror sits above the world, the Saderans would fall the hard way. Note: This fanfic is based off Easytech's GC:S, which is a turn based strategy game set on a historical yet albeit fantastical Japan during the Sengoku Jidai. GC:S is the one based off real history while the story proper is based on the game, so expect historical errors and fictional elements from the Japanese side.

A short chapter of a Asian fantasy themed story I wrote back in 2022. It is from the perspective of an Ashigaru soldier serving in the army of General Sanada. They are to attack Tatehaba which has recently been occupied by rebels. However, this common soldier will face a much great enemy than rebels in the service of General Sanada.
