His hair was both lighter and spikier than everyone else's and he had a weird way of speaking - not to mention the verbal and non-verbal ticks, as well as the mental illnesses he was too shy to get professionally diagnosed. He was also an underage orphan who lived by himself, not that he let anyone know that everything he brought back from home was all forged signatures. To hide himself, he grew his hair long enough to be pulled into a ponytail - not that he ever did anything but brush his hair - and let his bangs grow to cover his abnormally orange and brown eyes. He also wore slightly baggy clothes to hide his frame and he made sure to stick to the back of the crowd. He also made sure to only talk when he was spoken to. He was smarter than most kids in his grade, but he made sure to keep himself average at everything as a precaution. He didn't want to accidentally step out of bounds and be the centre of attention. His motto in life was "If I don't bother them, they won't bother me." Fortunately, it worked for most of his life.
