"Why are you so obsessed with being around water?" Jack asked the younger boy. "It calms me, and rids me of my troubled past. It cleans me, washes away all the horrible things that have been done to me. It make me feel safe. Something that I don't feel outside of water. The only other time I feel safe is when I'm performing, but I can't sing forever." Zach answers, slowly dragging his hand through the pool water as he sat and watched it shine and sparkle during the warm L.A. sunset. Jack was a singer who just finished tour, being an opening act for Shawn Mendes. He had the perfect family and perfect friends. Zach was also a singer, and he also just finished tour, being an opening act for Troye Sivan. However, Zach didn't have the perfect life. He had family issues, and only one friend. The only thing that would make those troubles disappear was when he performed, but mainly when he was surrounded by water. Jack and Zach end up being put together by their managers to get get publicity. They both have to go on tour with each other, along with their best friends, Troye Sivan, and Shawn Mendes. Jack notices that Zach is quiet and puts up a wall. He's nothing like how he acts on stage or in interviews; energetic and funny. He's reserved and doesn't like to open up to others that often. Jack notices how whenever they stop at a hotel Zach spends his time by or in the pool. So, he asks him why was water an obsession of his. So Zach tells Jack what he thinks about the mysterious bodies of water on earth.

In which the Why Don't We boys realize they have feelings for each other and have a polyamorous relationship. When they start to drift away, they remain a band and still really close friends. Jack and Zach continue to date, as do Daniel and Corbyn. Jonah finds another person through instagram dms and fall in love. On a crazy night, Jack and Zach end up becoming parents to a little boy by the name of Harvey and Daniel and Corbyn become parents to twins. What happens when the four have to tell their families and fans about their children? What about tour? What about Jonah and his love interest? Will they remain the well known Why Don't We family? Or will they drift away?
