Now, Toni has to live in a new town with a new family, who to Toni's assumption, only took her in as a charity case. Will Shelby prove her wrong? Earlier that day, during English, Toni had started a ridiculous argument about God being a brainwashing tool designed to enslave the masses. "She called me fucking petulant." Damn right. Shelby had to keep herself from nodding. "You don't think I'm being petty, do you?" or The AU where Toni befriends a wolf. Hanging out with it becomes a common occurrence. She tells the wolf things she doesn't even tell Martha. But what Toni doesn't know is that the wolf she confides in happens to be the person she often rants about. (I started posting this on ao3 a few months ago, but I figured why not post it here, too)

She was supposed to bring her long-term girlfriend she had told her friends about. The problem with that was that Toni hadn't dated since her break up almost four years ago and just told her friends she did to shut them up. So there was no way Toni could bring her girlfriend with her, right? Wrong. Toni didn't believe in miracles but when the ad of a fake partner website came up on her Instagram feed, she felt like she had to rethink that opinion. It couldn't be too difficult pretending to be in a relationship with someone you have just met, could it?

Things seemed to finally be calming down in the large Stone-Wood household. After trine of trying, Rian had succeeded in making his Father see him as more than a solider, and now their relationship had mended, growing into so much more. Ordon was taking a more active role in his kids lives, and it appeared that the family benefited greatly from it. Shoni, however, became discontent with the change. Less money now that her husband decided to be a father instead of a provider to his two adopted childling, and his one "true" son. She simply lost a reason to stay, and had to take swift action, before the guilt consumed her... In this au there's no Skesis/the Crystal isn't dark. The clans came to the decision that the heart of Thra should be place in a Castle, with guards from every clan, to help preserve the land and keep it out of harms way. Ordon is obviously still the Captain to keep the Stonewood appeased and the Vapra can remain in control.

All the girls live in the same town. They might know each other, they might not. Eventually they will. No plane crash. No island. No Dawn of Eve. Just a town and a high school. Shelby and Toni have been pen pals for years. When Shelby finds out Toni has moved and to her city in Texas. She find out the feels she has can't be ignored anymore. But fighting ensues and feelings because more complicated.
