Not all wars are loud. Some unfold in silence; within thoughts, within memories, within the spaces we never speak of. A Thousand Quiet Wars is a collection of poems that traces the unseen conflicts of existence: the tension between who we are and who we are expected to be, between what we feel and what we hide. Each piece holds a moment of resistance, a fracture, or a fleeting understanding, small battles that shape us in ways the world rarely notices. These poems do not seek resolution. ___________________________________________ They sit with the chaos, the quiet, and everything in between where the loudest wars are the ones no one hears. The poetry of my heart, a retry at my earlier and first collection. A retry at many things, many wars inside myself. The days have been hard. The days weren't ever hard before I feel, when I have to talk myself through every single smile and "happy" meal. A Poetry Collection of a thousand wars... a thousand deaths and a thousand times of trying again. I hope you give my poetry a try! ____________________________________________ The days have been wars lately, quite the time to die. The battles have left invisible scars, hurts me, as away I fly. The people are too happy these days, too much for me to survive a short hello, and a shorter goodbye. _____________________________________________ The Old Widow grieves the mystery of an unlived history. -From The Old Widow Memories have left lesions in their stead. -From Bane How can you ever find those eyes and eat away your bread? -From Lads of The Moors ______________________________________________

Short poems exploring the pain of losing someone without truly losing them, but losing yourself instead. A quiet grief for the past version that will never return, and the fragile hope of becoming something new, until sorrow slowly turns into joy. 📌 Pinterest board: https://pin.it/397dQqEff

Monthly Ruptured (LDSJ 2026 Poetry) only the raw, unfiltered honesty of the present moment. Whether it's the high of a new love or the descent into a private insanity, these poems are the records of a heart that refuses to stay in one place.

Not raining but I'm pouring. A rhythmic exploration of a moment where the internal and external blur. Is it rain, or is it a reflection or is it just an illusion? The path is clear, yet I cannot move.

"Sitting alone on a bench, near him a tree, His wrinkled hands held a letter as he quietly read, The moon beneath him sees, In his somber motion, his eyes bleed." Simple short free verse poem inspired by my great-grandfather and my great-grandfather's friend back in the 2000s before his friend passed. They used to be close companions before they parted in their own ways and paths. I never got to meet both of them honestly, I wasn't even born yet at the time so this is based on what I know thanks to my aunt Katia.

A quiet story about a girl and her unusual best friend, Luna. Every night, she talks to someone no one else can see or understand. Though they are completely different-one human, one not-they share something unbreakable: friendship. But what happens when fear and change start to creep in? © Issa Solarae/Inkssa.
