Solstice lives on Earth, a place we're you live into your 200's, a place we're buildings tower over you, plants bloom through cracks, smog is thick over your head, shady characters hunt the streets at night, a place we're anything is possible, everything but bringing back the dead. Humans killed and betrayed the other races over thousands of years ago, and eventually forced themselves to forget, Solstice knows what they did though, her grandma told her. A few others remember but Solstice knows one thing no one else does, that the humans failed. The other races survived, how does she know? Simple, her father was one, and when her grandmother mysteriously dies in her arms she whispers one thing, "Find them, avenge them, and do what you do best -rebel." It's been 2 years and every day she hunts for them, the way to the other races. But one day on accident she and her sister find the place we're the other races are hiding. Madeleine at the age of 8 lost her parents. She also lost her twin to the Dark Side. After that fatal battle, she later is taken in by her aunt and uncle and taught her family's secrets.
