That is, until one encounter at the New York Public Library intertwined his fate with Nicole Rossi. Her bright smile and comforting demeanor began to melt Ash's cold heart, but all he could do was watch with dreadful eyes as his complete opposite began to slowly turn into his dull reflection. I do not own any characters within the Banana Fish series except my own OC's. Events will follow my own plotline as well as events from the anime.

Hey hey hey!! :D I recently finished Banana Fish and OMFG OML it was fkin amazing 10/10 - and so I decided to commemorate the obsession with some fanfics :P No spoilers, just your usual fluff/smut/lemon warning. High school AU where Eiji asks Ash to tutor him in English but soon their bond is more than mere friendship. Then, after they're finally dating, Eiji asks Ash about Valentine's Day. Ash is nervous. He hates Valentine's Day. If he lies, Eiji will know, if he's honest, he'll hurt Eiji. A little Valentine's Day dispute where logic and romance collides. With a happy ending.

The story is inspired by the manga. Summary: After 7 years, Eiji still insistently disapproves of Sing's love, but still waits for someone who has passed away, cruelly leaving him alone. Ash's soul was always watching over him, and could no longer bear to watch the person he loves painfully live in desperate efforts of waiting for him. He selfishly prayed to God, bring his soul to his side, that the two could be together again. But because of his selfishness, God punished him. He took all the memories about Ash from Eiji's mind, giving them another life in a peaceful country. Ash was given a chance, but it was also a punishment and revenge. Because the person he loves, is happy with his family and no longer have memories of him. Will Ash regain his love, when faced with an aggressive Eiji? Art is not mine.
