Shorter x Eiji Shorter is given the job to keep Eiji safe, he gave himself the job in all honesty. He takes Eiji somewhere no one can find him. They are just friends but Shorter starts to feel emotions for Eiji, ones he can't explain.

Eiji can't believe Ash is dead. He's spent two years trying to come to terms with it, but it still feels like a fresh wound. Looking for closure and answers to *why* Ash had to die, Eiji returns to New York City. He sets out to write a book about Ash's life, and the societal injustices that drove such a kind person to such a dark road. On the way he interviews people Ash knew and tries to weave their stories together as he learns more about the boy who stole his heart. Nothing sexual, lots of sadness and fluff, basically I just wanted an excuse to write both post-Banana Fish angst and pre-Banana Fish backstory. Also Bones is trans because I said so.

It has been many, many years since the death of Eiji Okumura. But after all this time, he is born back into the world for a second chance with something he can't quite remember, he doesn't even know what or who he's looking for, all Eiji can remember are bright emerald green eyes and the state of New York. Who is the boy with bright green eyes? He doesn't know, but he needs to find him, he needs to remember the past of a life he lived so long ago. So Eiji attempts to find the remains of the past that happened so long ago, including a blond boy with bright green eyes named Ash Lynx.

Lila Michaels' dad was a NYC detective investigating Dino and his shady restaurant, he felt personally attached to Ash's case trying desperately to save him from the world he knew, but when he got too close on evidence Dino kills him in cold blood. Julia tries her best to help Ash, Eiji etc to take Dino down to avenge her father and take banana fish down as a tribute to Ash's pain as-well as forming close friendships with our fav characters!
