She fell for it like any other girl who hands her heart over to a boy. Cassie thought he was the charming prince and the funny joker but his smile is one of satisfaction not happiness. Being fooled is like walking into a volcano with a blindfold. Holding the only hand you believe wont betray you... until it lets go.

A short story. Olis and Engli are on a research mission to the kingdom of Black Sword during the coronation of the new queen, Dalora. Mergrin, the cup bearer, has been treated with love and kindness by Nim since he was a child, and he fulfills her wishes when asked, without question. He is a puppet in her hands. All three will see and experience the consequences.

Don't be sad I will find someone like you

This quick short story is something I came up with while working on my new and improved Heir to the Elements series. In short I address some of the more... odd ideas I had in the old Heirs, such as my choice in naming my lead antagonist... Conduct... of all things. As well as making fun of some of my ideas for what was going to happen had I continued on with Heir to the Elements: Salvation. (Spoilers, it included Mammoths of all things). The story is set after the events of Heir to the Elements. Bolt and Tornado decided to work together to write down all their wonderful adventures and publish it. Before sending it in to a publisher they thought it would be nice to get some feedback from their friends. Shade finished reading it first... She was not exactly impressed.

I get to the top floor to get a good view of what is going on, and I am seeing a massacre over who gets what. The Careers are benefiting from this, getting kills left and right. Eight cannons go off during this massacre." It is the 71st Hunger Games and teenage District 7 resident Johanna Mason is picked alongside rival John Holden. Fun fact: girls look at porn, too. Isabel Gonzalez is sixteen years old, funny, a midwesterner, a swimmer.... And she keeps a secret. She looks at porn magazines with her best friend, Greg. Having been raised in a devoutly Catholic family, this is premium sin material, and she knows it. But she never once thought she'd have to answer for her actions, until her mother finds a Playgirl in Isabel's bedroom. Isabel (or, just Bel) is forced to confront her upbringing, her relationships, and her sexuality all in one day, which is really inconvenient. But sometimes, it's better to just jump into the pool, than simply dip your toes into the water.

30 minutes. Right after waking up. I sit down and write non-stop: a new "story", or at least a slice of one. When channeling human imagination, surprises abound.
