This is a collection of reviews of BL-series and movies from Thailand, South Korea, the Philippines, Myanmar, Singapore, Japan, Cambodia, and Vietnam, some of which I have already published on mydramalist.com. The series I am reviewing here are not necessarily the most popular ones. Series like "1000 Stars", "I told Sunset About You" etc have been reviewed again and again by many people, so I don't want to write the 100th review about them. These are some of my favourite series (and a few of my least favourite ones), with some of my favourite actors, and of course my selection as well as my reviews are in no way objective.

To run a short documentary or full-time entertainment film there is a huge workforce standing behind it. Film editing is the most technical as well as the creative part of filmmaking. It is done after the production of the film. Deep Focus Film Festival offers great opportunities to established and budding writers, filmmakers, producers, artists, and editors to come and show talent by introducing amazing creative elements in the movie. Film editors are immensely creative and they work with the rough footage, they select the shots and align them in proper and meaning full sequence to produce a motion art that is unique in its way.

[ Originally written for semester 2 class assignment - SHORT FILM WRITING ] LOGLINE: In colonial Malaya, a young boy's gift from his recently deceased English family blossoms an unknown side to his history and lineage from across the sea. After his adoptive English parents are involved in a car crash, Daim finds himself stuck in a will dispute between himself and Ewing Danbury, his adoptive uncle. Other than that, the shadowed mystery of a man named Raden Noh Syaifudin, known only to Daim through his late mother's letter that leads him to find Noh Syaifudin's note to his father in his botanical laboratory, raising questions on his biological family's existence. He asks his housekeeper, Mek if she knows who Noh Syaifudin is. Realizing that this man is close to his late adoptive father, Daim tries to get hold of him but is unsuccessful. However, he finds more evidence that points towards Noh Syaifudin possibly being his biological father. In the chaos that ensues as Ewing tries to take over his adoptive father's will to him all for himself, Daim finally pieces the puzzle together and tells the lawyer and Ewing that the willed items for him are actually from Raden Noh Syaifudin, ending with Daim asking for their help to prove his relationship with this mysterious man.

This is a story about a young girl who is raped by her father and rescued by a stranger. The stranger murders her father and the girl is being a witness to the murder is in a dilemma whether to confess to the police or keep quiet and have a father figure in her life. It's a treatment for a film I am writing and hopefully I will make it. The title; Moirai Moirai is the plural of the English word Moira. Mostly associated with ancient mythologies and in Greek mythology it means a person's fate or destiny or the personification of fate. It is also a female given name. According to mythology, the personified fate directed fate and watched that the fate assigned to every being by eternal laws might take its course without obstruction. I chose this title first of all for the audience to speculate whether the young girl's name is Moirai. In this short film all characters have different fates. The bad characters' fate is death and the victim, the girl gets immensely rewarded. I want those who watch this short film and are involved in bad things to realize what is in store for them and those who have been victims to have hope that everything happens for a good reason. The title simply represents that the short film is about different human fates and destinies apart from exposing some societal immoralities.
