I fell for the warmth that knew it wouldn't last.

The city of thorns glowed with electric sorrow.

I will stand beside you as the evidence that you were never imagined, you were always inevitable.

Through snow I move, but with you the world becomes an ocean to surf together.

I have folded my wings so you may fly.

I'd weather every storm just to guard you.

Following great cataclysms, the living are historically left to fend for themselves in harsh and unforgiving environments. Despite the odds, some manage to survive and even thrive, developing unique cultures and societies. As they progress further, they begin to uncover secrets of the past from which the path to enlightenment is discovered. In discovery, those truly living must battle against the inextricable forces of nature, specifically, the nature of their own living truth.

The ebook is going to be a compilation of my written short poetry. I dedicate this ebook to the person who makes my heart happy. 'I can't let go. My past holds onto me' It hurts to hold onto a past, to trace these memories lingering upon my skin, to want to reach out and grasp anything, anything at all that would take this pain away, but being unable to. I'm scared of letting go. Of the pain it brings. I'm scared I'll lose myself along with these memories, far more than I have now. *A random poetry collection. *All rights reserved.
