[ early 2000s backdrop, desi romcom ] when the calendar flipped to 2002... Sandhya was simply too smart, too solvent, and far too qualified for the egos of the local bachelor pool. at twenty-five, she's thriving as a well-paid college professor, but in her mother's orthodox eyes, an un-married daughter with a master's degree might as well be a family tragedy. what follows is an endless parade of self-important suitors who crumble the second they realize a lady earns more than them.

You are going to read this as a story. A man loses someone. He stops sleeping. A woman made of light shows him a hundred worlds where she's still alive, still laughing, still breathing - and in every one of them, he's the one who's missing. You'll tell yourself it's just fiction. A metaphor. A clever structural trick about grief. But somewhere around the part where he asks "have I told you I didn't wake up?" - stop, and ask yourself when the last time was that someone checked on you. Really checked. Not the polite kind of checking. Because some stories are told by people no longer here to correct you if you get the ending wrong. This might be one of them. You won't know until you finish it. And by then, it might already be too late to ask.

There's that one person. Talking. And talking. Glancing at you every few seconds like you're supposed to add something. And all you want to do is scream "PLEASE. STOP. TALKING‼️" You can't say that. So what do you do? You find an exit. A smooth one. Something that gets you out without starting World War III. That's why this book exists. I've lived every one of these moments including the time i actually wanted to say "I'm sure whatever i have to say can wait till you're smarter" and didn't. (I still think about it. I probably always will.) Inside: escape lines for every disaster. The bestie who never stops talking. The date so boring i saw a tumbleweed. The five words that ruin every family gathering: "why are you still single?" The man who introduced me to his watch before he asked my name. Even the zombie apocalypse. If you've ever needed to disappear mid-conversation, there's a line here for you. Drop yours in the comments - your "I wish I'd said that" moments are basically my favorite thing to read. Let's build a whole tribe of people who always have an exit ready. Quick housekeeping: everything here is mine, if you spot a copycat, send them my way. And if you catch a typo, tell me nicely. Even escape artists miss things sometimes. Thanks for joining the escape plan. Let's make every awkward moment survivable. 🤗🧡

Inspired by the Twisted series (by Ana Huang) here comes the "Naked Truth" that we go through in our day to day life. This is a series of random thoughts that we often disregard or not pay attention to. It is a set of random feelings portrayed in the form of writings to give you the feel of breeze in a scorching hot day and the feel of warmth in the frosty nights.

This book is a collection of short stories, one-shots, flash fiction, microfiction, drabbles, and all my writing contest entries. Call it what you will, but it's basically anything under the sun that I can tweak into a spontaneous narrative which can be read in one sitting; mostly inspired by prompts not limited to pictures and songs. Although extended to a variety of genres, the most prominent you will notice is either Teen Fiction or Chicklit. Usually with a length of not more than 4k words. Additional note: - This book has gone through a number of edits, yet it will still feel like it's unedited. So, my apologies if you're having a hard time digesting the story. - I do not have a fixed update schedule for this book. - Don't ghost read. Drop in a vote if you like the story ^-^ It'll mean a lot if you drop in a feedback in the comments too. - I usually leave an author's note for an explanation and to converse with readers. So, I'll see you there! - And, please forgive my engurish ò.ó.

Hey. So this isn't the full story-just the beginning. Think of it like a warm-up. I'm writing all of this from memory, exactly how I remember it, no filters. Some stuff might sound fake, but that's your call. I lie a lot, but I'm also weirdly honest. Welcome to Nine Lives Liven. Let's see how long you stick around.

Step into a world where the wind speaks in riddles, rivers remember your name, and shadows carry stories older than time. In Whispers of the World, ancient legends and timeless myths from every corner of the globe gather beneath the boughs of a single, enchanted tree. From the golden threads of Anansi's cunning to the thunderbird's storm-swept wings, from the shapeshifting secrets of selkies to the sly grin of tricksters at every crossroads-this anthology is a passport to the wonder tucked inside every whisper of folklore. Drawn from West African jungles, Celtic shores, Eastern mountains, desert winds, and forest depths, these tales pulse with magic, wisdom, and the heartbeat of countless generations. Whether told around fires, carved into wood, or passed between stars, each story invites you to listen closely-and maybe, just maybe, to believe. For lovers of mythology, fairytale dreamers, and curious souls: these are the stories the world has been whispering to you all along. It's time to listen.
