After his wife dies, John must find ways to cope, and his son abruptly coming back into his life doesn't help. - It was 53 years of marriage-he knew every single thing about her from her daily routine to the number of wrinkles that decorated her skin. His love for her grew even more as the time went by. So after she passed, John found it hard to move on with his life-how is it even possible to do such a thing? She tied his shoes when his back was too tight to move. She cooked him breakfast every morning and was the only one to tell him he needed to gain some weight. She gave him comfort when the storms came, singing to him as if he were a child. But now she's gone and John is hesitant to even turn the knob when someone familiar knocks on his door.
