Shota Aizawa had always been a lonely man, and he had come to accept that it would always be this way. He just wasn't a people person, let alone boyfriend material. He was Shota, a Pro Hero, a teacher, and that had to be enough. But when Eri asked him who he wanted to spend Valentine's Day with, a pang of longing hit his chest. There was only one person who came to mind: Mirage. He often partnered with them on night patrol, their beautiful purple hair cascading over their long black coat. When Shota closed his eyes, he could still smell their perfume. But never in a million years would he ask them out on a date. That would be unfair to both of them. He wasn't the man they deserved, and he didn't want to lose their friendship. So when Mirage suddenly appeared at the little Valentine's celebration his Class 1-A had organized, his heart stopped, and for a moment, he forgot how to breathe.
