She used to play volleyball, but not anymore. She quit because her old team hated her. It got to the point where they were beating her up for mistakes during practice. She didn't know what had happened exactly, but she actually enjoyed playing with them. She can't quite understand what happened back there, but in the end she quit playing and moved to a different school. Karasuno is known for being the fallen crows. Those who couldn't get back there glory from a few years ago. When Trinity ends up in Hinata's class she ends up getting recruited as a manager for the team. What in the world's gonna happen? This is Haikyuu but Hinata is now a girl who got her transfer papers mixed up so everyone thinks she is a boy. With everyone convinced that Hinata is a guy, she joins the volleyball team. Along the way Hinata realizes something about themself that they probably wouldnt have.

Hinata has uncovered the deepest parts of Kageyama. Whether it be about volleyball, school, heck, even personal stuff - Hinata thought he already knew everything there is to know about his partner. All except one thing. That One Time is a short story that revolves around Hinata's actions after realising the last thing that Kageyama kept in secret.
